The Graham High School Band is filled with over 45 years of awards and honors. The following list is incomplete and has been assembled from what remains of the trophy collection. The list is constantly growing as we find more trophies and awards. Here are a few of the outstanding achievements of the band:

• 1977 marked the 17th consecutive year the GHS Band received a Division I rating at the Southeastern Band Festival, now named the Mountain Empire Marching Festival.
• Special Events attended include: Virginia Tech Band Day, Bluefield College basketball games, performances in Myrtle Beach and Orlando, groundbreaking of Southwest Virginia Community College, and performances at Elon College football games.
