The Florida Fruit delivery date has been changed by the vendor to accommodate trucking needs.  The new delivery date is Tuesday, Dec. 1!  Fruit will be available for pick up between 12:30pm and 5:30pm at GHS in the Band Room.  Please let us know if you are unable to pick up your fruit for any reason.

The Bluefield Virginia Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th (time TBA).   The Band will march and additional details will follow next week.

The Christmas Concert/Spaghetti Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, December 15th.  Dinner will be served from 5:30-7:00pm.  Students will be issued 5 tickets to sell and will receive $2 per ticket sold credited to their student accounts.  We need volunteers to help prep and serve.  We also need iced sheet cakes.  If you are able to help, please let me know!

The proofs of the pictures taken in the new band uniform were sent home today with an order form.  Please call Julie Hurley or Suzanne Hutchison if you have any questions.   If you are interested in placing an order, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can order the packages in plenty of time for Christmas delivery.

The Celebrating Home fundraiser orders are due Monday, 11/30!

Buses will depart GHS at 4:30pm.  Students need to be at the school at 4:00pm.  WeatherChannel.com currently forecasts 30% chance of a "few showers" for Friday with temperatures in the low 60's.  Important: Students need to wear jeans, tennis shoes and their Band T-Shirts on the bus, and bring their band shoes & white socks!  In the event that the weather turns really bad, they will march in their blue jeans/tennis shoes with the Band Raincoats.
