G-R-E-A-T   Band Camp!!

Thank you to everyone who did not arrive too early on Sunday and helped start the week off successfully.

THANK, THANK, THANK YOU to the chaperones: Margaret Caldwell, Marti Chaffins, Becky Hale, Chris Byrd, Chico Richardson, Doug McDaniel, Chip Hurley and to Nurse Beth Staton and Nurse Angie Byrd for selflessly spending a week's vacation volunteering at Band Camp.

Thank you to Mr. Steve Hopta who faithfully brings watermelons every year for the kids to eat while on a break (even though he hasn't had a kid in band for quite a while now).

Thank you to Angie Tabor and all of the Seniors' parents who helped to make"Senior Night" special.

Thank you to all of the instructors for caring enough about the GHS Band to lend your very talented, capable hands: Chris Billings, Sam Hutchison, Kara Woodward, Leanna Tibbs, Allie MacMillion, Arian & Willie!

Finally, thank you to Mr. Brown and Mr. French for your patience, perserverance and commitment to our children and the GHS Band program.

RIVERDANCE ROCKS!

Thanks to everyone for making the picnic such a success!  There was a big crowd, plenty of good food, lively conversation, and excitement for the coming marching season.  I hope you were able to see the great work on the newly refurbished uniform trailer - thank you Jim Evans!
